Ultra: name an XI from memory

No lists. No prompts. Just a constraint, a formation and an empty team sheet, and you fill it from your own memory. It'll forgive your spelling. It won't forgive a guess.

How it works

1. The day sets the brief: an era to pick from, and a rule to keep to, be it any XI, a single club, or a side that actually won the league.
2. Type your names. Each one has to be a real player who fits the window and the brief.
3. A ceiling score shows you what perfect recall would have got you, so you know exactly how much you left on the sheet.
4. The daily Ultra is one and the same challenge for everyone, wherever in the world they're sat.

Spotting a player when he's put in front of you is easy. Pulling him out of thin air with nothing to go on is the hardest football knowledge there is. Ultra takes away everything but what you can actually remember.
